24 Rivers Rehabilitation

A five year river rehabilitation project started in 2024. Funded by WWF SA & WWF Switzerland.

Berg & Breede River Riparian Rehabilitation Project

Intaba was awarded a three year tender by Government to rehabilitate portions of the Berg and Breede River as part of their Berg River Improvement Plan.

Bosjes dam wall rehabilitation

In 2021 the kloof dam wall was rehabilitated with soil conditioners and indigenous seeds.

Natural corridors for Uitkyk Farm

A four year project started in 2024. Rehabilitation of corridors between vinyards.

Plant Propagation

Intaba has a specialist indigenous rehabilitation nursery and seed bank that is used for rehabilitation projects.

Reforest Action Rehabilitation Project

Multi-site project in the Berg and Breede River occurring over 2 years, starting in 2021.

Riparian Rehabilitation, Tulbagh

This private rehab project (funded by landowner) started in March 2013, where a section of the Klein Berg River (750m length) was re-forested. Done in partnership with Mr Patrick Watson.

Search And Rescue For Shell Ultra City, N1 Near Worcester

Two petrol stations were to be developed on the N1 near Worcester, unfortunately on land featuring a very rare Arctotis cf. incise plant.
