Bosjes dam wall rehabilitation
In 2021 the kloof dam wall was rehabilitated with soil conditioners and indigenous seeds.

A multi- tiered dam wall was constructed in the Kloof at Bosjes Farm and the dam walls needed to be re-vegetated.
Topsoil, compost and mulch was applied to the dam wall together with an organic liquid fertiliser and microbes to stimulate soil health. A seed mixture of at least 20 different indigenous species was treated (to stimulate germination) and distributed across the dam wall.
Even though the farm has some game that browse the plants, the dam wall has recovered well within two years.
