With heavy clay soils, we did a lot of soil preparation to start with. Neat steel edging and flowing lawns connecting the different areas. The soft landscaping of mostly locally indigenous plants complemented the eco-pool, with and olive grove surrounding the house and a kitchen garden with specialist prickly pears and chickens.
